Hi, I’m Grace.

I’m a wife, a mother of two, a certified Birth Doula and certified Birth Photographer with a passion for supporting families as they navigate the exciting path of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I believe that supporting and documenting every birth is the highest honor. Birth is an intimate, personal experience, and I know that adding someone to your birth team is not a decision that is taken lightly. It is truly a privilege to be trusted enough to play a small part in helping a family bring a baby into the world. After my own personal experiences with miscarriage and pregnancy-after-loss, I fully understood how mentally, emotionally, and physically challenging the path toward become a parent can be and I knew that I wanted to find practical ways to support all parents on their journeys to bringing home a baby.

I believe that the doula-client connection should be a relationship, not a transaction - a sisterhood, not a business. I believe that the “village” we grew up hearing about needs to be rebuilt through friendships and shared experiences. I believe that the best way to prepare yourself for an empowered birth is to surround yourself with people who know and love birth.
I believe in mothering the mothers.

I often say that my role is a doula is not to hold babies, although I certainly enjoy that part, too. My role is to hold the mothers - to support their partners - to nurture the families.
